With the dense forest in Kielder, Northumberland, a young woman has gone missing from her holiday lodge. Search and rescue teams have found no trace of the popular 21-year-old. DCI Caron Dell and her team have been drafted in to locate her, and time is against them.

Throughout their investigation, they discover January Blue is not the only woman to have disappeared: one has turned up dead.

The dark skies and freezing weather hamper their search further. Can they find her before it is too late?
